Our Mission

Mission statement 

The mission of the NOLA Grannies is to provide simple necessities and comfort to legal asylum seekers who have recently crossed the southern border or have just been released from detention. These weary travelers pass through New Orleans by bus on journeys to their sponsors' destinations where they will continue the asylum process started at the US/Mexico border.
